About the author

Sajjad Rajpar MRCP– Specialist Registrar in Dermatology with an interest in skin oncology. Strong academic background, having achieved the Gold Medal for outstanding performance as well as 4 scholarships and 5 faculty prizes at the University of Birmingham Medical School. Current research activities include diagnostic aspects of melanoma in primary care, lentigo maligna and skeletal metastases of melanoma.

Jerry Marsden FRCP – Consultant in Dermatology & Head of the Skin Oncology Service at University Hospital Birmingham. Recognised national expert in skin oncology and dermatologic surgery. Full-time skin oncologist with over 50 peer reviewed publications. Co-author of the British Association of Dermatologists guidelines on cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. Ongoing investigator in several melanoma trials. Secretary of the Melanoma Study Group.
