About the author

Sally Lloyd-Jones is a New York Times bestselling writer of over 30 books for children. Her work has been critically acclaimed by the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times and includes: The Jesus Storybook Bible, ALA Notable and Platinum Book Award winner; Thoughts to Make Your Heart Sing, Association of Christian Publishers Adult Devotional Book of the Year; and the Christopher Medal winner, Baby Wren and the Great Gift. Sally was born in Kampala, Uganda, raised in East and West Africa and at a boarding school in the New Forest, England, studied at the Sorbonne, and now lives in New York City. Igor Oleynikov has been drawing since early childhood. He grew up in Lubertsy, Russia, a satellite town of Moscow where he lived with his mother, a carpet designer, and his father, an engineer. Oleynikov has illustrated more than 25 children’s books from publishers around the world. He now lives Moscow with his wife and is a proud father and grandfather.
