I love this series. Don't start here. Go to the beginning. The first book is a little slow but the following books are fabulous. If you've been reading the series, you know the books just get better and better. The world is vast and we get to keep exploring new creatures and realms and all of the problems associated with them. The keeper and her crew get wrapped up pretty deep this time. Hobs is right smack dab in the middle of it. On the way, Naida and Sebille get themselves into a little situation that's going to take another book to figure out apparently. Dang it, Sam, I was planning on reading the next book anyway. Lol.

There’s an explosion at Croakies inside the Toxic Magic Vault which sets off an adventure for Naida Griffith, Keeper of the Artifacts plus the magic librarian. And this happens on Valentine’s Day after Naida finds the store and library decorated in hearts everywhere. What a day to have the magic serum taken and the need for immediate recovery!!! The characters you will meet at all created to grab your imagination and set it free. Some the these characters are: Holly Heartsick, Seville, the sprite, Hobs, the hobgoblin, Slimy, the frog, Wicked, the cat, cupid’s with razor teeth and sharp arrows, ogres and shifters. An entertaining read with magical, humorous and suspenseful events to enliven your imagination. This is book # 11 in the Enchanting Inquiries series. It can be read as a stand alone. This is the first book I have read and was able to follow along with ease. I volunteered to read Love Croakies. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Lovesick or loved to death?? Suspend reality when you walk into Croakies bookstore, aka the paranormal library of the Artifacts. As Keeper of the Artifacts, Naida Griffith is used to wrangling artifacts and protecting the world from the ones that have disastrous potential by storing them behind warded doors. Her many human customers can never know what is hidden in the shop or that her employees include a sprite, a hobgoblin, a familiar, and a talking frog with occasional help from a range of other paranormals. Naida can always count on Valentine’s Day to bring lots of customers and book sales but this year it also brings a thief, demons, evil, and danger – all in the name of love. The books in this series may be cozies but the writing and imagination by Sam Cheever create a true reading experience. I have only read a couple of the books so far but I have quickly become an Enchanting Inquiries series fan. I received a free copy of this book but my review is honest and voluntary. Sam Cheever’s humor and unique characters always combine with a solid plot and plenty of paranormal action to give me hours of enjoyable reading.
