Dr. Santosh Dhar is Rector and Dean—Faculty of Doctoral Studies and Research at Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. She has been engaged in teaching, research, corporate training and consultancy for the last forty two years. She has widely published her work and has more than 394 publications to her credit. Her earlier assignments have been Professor, Shri Vaishnav Institute of Management, Indore; Professor, Amity Business School, Amity University, Greater Noida campus; Professor, Institute of Management and Dean—Research, JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur; Senior Professor, OB/HR, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur; Professor and Chairperson—OB/HR Area, Institute of Management, Nirma University, Ahmedabad and Guest Faculty at IIM Kolkata and MICA Ahmedabad. Many research scholars have been awarded Ph.D degree under her supervision. She has designed and conducted management development programs for the executives of several business houses, such as Grasim Industries, JK Tyre, Bridgestone, Hindustan Motors, ONGC and GAIL to name a few. She has been on the Panel of Reviewers of Oxford University Press and Tata McGraw-Hill. She was Managing Editor of Prestige Journal of Management and Research and Prestige Research Abstracts. She has been Chairperson of Indian Society for Training and Development (Indore and Jaipur Chapters) and was on the Editorial Board of Indian Journal of Training and Development. She has presented papers in several national and international conferences/seminars and had the opportunity to visit Kathmandu (Nepal), Male (Maldives), Bangkok (Thailand), Beijing, Shangai, Guanzhou, Shenzen, Hong Kong (China), Seoul (South Korea) Dubai (UAE), Tumu (Myanmar), Poland and United States in connection with various professional and academic assignments.
Dr. Dhar has coordinated the implementation of a project on the Empowerment of Women through Enterprise in North India (2000–2002), which was funded by Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). She has completed the research projects on Problems of Women Trainers in India and Quality of Work Life as a Determinant of Mental Health in Pharmaceutical Industry. She has also been principal investigator for Asian Development Bank funded and Rajasthan Government sponsored RUIDP Consultancy project on Capacity Building of ULBs of Different Towns of Rajasthan. She has twice been chairperson of Indian Society for Training and Development Jaipur and Indore Chapter & Chairperson of the Best Paper Award of the Indian Society for Training and Development, New Delhi. Dr. Dhar was conferred National Fellowship for her contributions to HR by the Indian Society for Training and Development in 2006–07. She is life member of Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD), National Human Resource Development Network (NHRDN), and Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
Dr. Upinder Dhar is First Vice Chancellor of Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth
Vishwavidyalaya (Indore). Earlier, he was Group Additional Vice Chancellor and
Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academics), Amity University (Noida); First Vice Chancellor of JK Lakshmipat University (Jaipur); Director—Institute of Management, Dean— Faculty of Management, and Dean—Faculty of Doctoral Studies and Research, Nirma University (Ahmedabad); Director—Prestige Institute of Management and Research (Indore); Professor of Management at NITIE (Mumbai); Reader at IMSDAVV (Indore); and Lecturer at M.D. University (Rohtak). He has conducted 725 management and faculty development programs for the executives of major business houses and faculty members of academic institutions respectively. He has also been Guest Faculty at IIM Calcutta, IIM Indore, IIM Trichy and IIT Roorkee. Besides undertaking consultancy assignments, he has authored/co-authored/edited 811 publications. Forty-one (41) scholars have been awarded Ph.D. degree under his supervision by various universities.
Dr. Dhar was awarded Commonwealth Fellowship twice to present his papers at the South Asian Management Forums held at Royal Institute of Management, Bhutan and Lahore University of Management Science, Lahore. He was invited by the American Society for Engineering Management as resource person for Case Method during its international annual Conference held at Minnesota in 2013. He has also been resource person in the Leadership for Academicians Program (LEAP) sponsored by MHRD and organized by IIT Roorkee in 2018 and BHU Varanasi in 2019. He had the opportunity to visit Ivy League institutions like Harvard Business School, MIT Sloan School of Management, and Yale University School of Management. He has also visited 18 countries for professional and academic interest. He has been on the high powered Expert Committees constituted by MHRD, UGC, AICTE and Hon’ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh. He was President of the International Simulation and Gaming Association (2021–22), and a Member of the Standing Committee on Specification of Degrees u/s 22 of the UGC Act, 1956; Expert Group constituted for Implementation of NEP 2020, and Governing Council of the Association of Indian Universities. Currently, he is a member of the Executive Board of AMDISA (2022–24). Besides his professional engagements, Dr. Dhar has been a dedicated Rotarian since 1997. He was instrumental in setting up two Rotaract Clubs in the institutions headed by him.
Dr. Nitu Katariya is an Associate Professor in the area of Physics at Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya Indore. She is a recognized Research Supervisor at Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya. Dr. Katariya started her career in academics in the year 2003, as Assistant Professor in Physics and worked with many prestigious Institutes such as Bhartiya Mahavidyalaya Ujjain, Government Engineering College, Ujjain, Malwa Institute of Science & Technology, Indore, Government Polytechnic College, Ujjain and SAGE University Indore. She has been coordinator and member of various academic and administrative committees.
Dr. Katariya is on the panel of reviewers for many International Journals. Her field of Research is nanomaterial thin film and super conductors. She has published more than 17 research papers in refereed journals of high repute having more than 250 citations. Presently she is working on the project on Delafossite thin films funded by M.P. Council of Science and Technology, Bhopal.
She had organized several academic events like National Conferences, workshops and Faculty development program. She coordinated National Laser Symposium–2021 sponsored by Department of Atomic Energy as Joint Secretary. Dr. Katariya is a recipient of M.P. Young Scientist fellowship from MPCST, Bhopal.
Dr. Katariya is a Lifetime member of Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) and Indian Laser Association (ILA).
