A beautifully told love story that focuses on two old flames finding their way back to each other. Jordan left home 15 years ago and never looked back. Now following her divorce, Jordan heads back to her hometown with her two young daughters. Going home mean opening old wounds and seeing the one man she never forgot. Gavin have never stopped loving Jordan McKenna. For fifteen years he has constantly thought about the one that got away. When Jordan returns old heartache and what if's are brought forefront.. Now he has a second chance to claim the woman he has never stopped loving and convince her to trust him into loving and keeping her and her girls safe. Plans and relationship are put on hold when an arsonist puts a plan into action forcing Gavin to walk away, causing more feeling of guilt and betrayal. An entertaining and fun read! I would definitely recommend this book to all romance lovers, especially those who love second chance romances. Fire Chief Gavin McGuire’s feelings for Jordan is just as raw as the day she left but when a series of suspicious fires breaks out he realizes that the sparks between them is the least dangerous of his problems in this sensational contemporary romance. I love Sara Humphrey’s paranormal books so I was excited to try her new contemporary and I have to say that she did a sensational job. The story is compelling with wonderful characters and I can’t wait to get to know the rest of the McGuire Brothers and if they are as sexy as Gavin, I will be able to add them all to my collection of hot book boyfriends.
