About this ebook

Tammy has one chance to escape an abusive marriage and save her sons... will she make it?

Love can be vindictive…

As a young, single mother, Tammy needed a man who was dependable, mature, and hard working. Not only did Ray tick off all those boxes, he wanted to build their family. After marrying and having a baby together, Tammy discovers that he is not the stable doting father he portrayed himself to be. Not wanting her boys to grow up without a dad, Tammy ignored the increasing number of red flags…

But since Ray’s behavior has become more violent, it’s obvious that the man she thought she trusted has become her worst nightmare. She has a plan and she’ll need to move fast to save herself and her children. If she doesn’t, she may never see her boys again.

About the author

Sara Lea grew up in Upstate NY, spending her childhood in the beautiful Adirondacks.

In 2011, she moved to Charleston, SC (sight unseen!) to explore and experience more

sunny days.

She is grateful for her supportive partner Rob, her velcro-dog, Porkchop, and loves

playing games with her 2 bonus kids.

With an M.A. in Social Policy (and a focus on Race, Class & Gender), she is a strong advocate for human rights. She has taught Sociology at a local college for over 6 years, and more recently has contributed to a Sociology textbook. She has a curiosity for human nature and believes in sharing experiences through prose.

Sara developed a love of reading and writing at an early age, typing out manuscripts on an old typewriter before getting her first computer. Through fiction writing, she enjoys exploring relationships and the darker side of the human experience.

With a severe case of wanderlust, Sara Lea’s biggest dream is to travel the country in an RV.
