Received an ARC of First time In Forever by Sarah Morgan for my honest opinion. Blessings happen when least expected. That seems to be the concept of First Time in Forever by Sarah Morgan. Emily's life changes direction in the blink of an eye. Can she learn to appreciate the blessings she has been given? Will she meet that special someone along the way? A beautiful story of finding yourself and appreciating what you are given.

This emotionally intense novel was a joy to behold. Morgan looks at life in such a manner that she puts everything in perspective, allowing readers to not only understand her story, but to gain a deeper understanding of themselves in the process. Light-hearted moments follow heartbreaking ones in a full-fledged manner that really draws you into the story. I laughed and I cried. By the end of the story I was left with a big smile on my face and a sense of peace. Morgan’s picturesque descriptions take readers on a journey to Puffin Island. You feel as if you’d actually been there. Morgan’s intricately crafted & well rounded characters will capture your heart. The emotions felt by and surrounding these characters are so poignant that you don’t read this story, you live it. I loved getting to know them. And Morgan doesn’t simply focus on her main characters. As in life, friends and family are ever important. But don’t get me wrong, the main characters are absolutely unforgettable. Both are simultaneously strong yet vulnerable, but in different ways. On top of that, they were just plain enjoyable characters.
