About the author
Sascha Macht, 1986 in Frankfurt (Oder) geboren, studierte am Deutschen Literaturinstitut Leipzig. Er veröffentlichte in diversen Anthologien und Zeitschriften und war u. a. Stipendiat des Künstlerhauses Lukas Ahrenshoop, der Stiftung Brückner-Kühner in Kassel und der LCB-Autorenwerkstatt Prosa 2015. Mit seiner Erzählung "Nach den Spionen" 2015 belegte er den ersten Platz des Literaturwettbewerbs New German Fiction. Für seinen Debütroman "Der Krieg im Garten des Königs der Toten" wurde Sascha Macht 2016 mit dem Silberschweinpreis ausgezeichnet. Er lebt in Leipzig.
