About this ebook

LONDON LORDS

A fake engagement with one rule only. Don’t fall in love.

Swedish Prince Christian Lind is a prince in name only. As the youngest son of a youngest son, there is no fancy castle or vast wealth awaiting him.

His country has become a side player in the grand politics of Europe, so in order to make his mark he journeys to the one place where it is all happening. London.

Christian’s childhood friend, Countess Erika Jansson is based in the British capital helping her father who is attached to the Swedish envoy.

Erika speaks perfect English, she knows all the right people, and most importantly she offers to help Christian with his plans to become an influential diplomat.

But as individuals the walls of society are set high against them, and they quickly discover that they will need to work together in order to succeed.

They come up with a clever plan. A fake engagement.

After an elegant betrothal ball, Christian and Erika quickly become the darlings of the London social scene.

But brief touches and heated glances soon have them both wondering if there is more to their relationship than just old friends helping one another.

One stolen, passionate kiss, changes everything.

This is a lively, and at times steamy tale of two people discovering the truth that home is not only always where you think it is.

Swedish Princes Gustav and Christian both want to marry Erika. Gustav wants the position and land she will bring him. Christian wants to marry for love. Christian and Erika love each other, but they have never voiced their feelings. When Erika leaves with her father for a four-year diplomatic assignment in London, Christian learns that she is sort of promised to Gustav. He decides it’s time to shape up and prove himself. He becomes a diplomat and assigned a post in London. Will this be his chance to win Erika? Can convince her and her father that he is worthy and the right man for her? This is a charming and entertaining story. There’s little action and no big villain, just a delightful romance. I found the characters quite likeable. Erika is sweet and bright. Christian started out a little reckless, but did some growing up. Gustav is considered staid and wise. He is the Crown Prince after all. Really, I think Gustave is full of Gustav. This a fun read. I enjoyed it. I received an ARC of this book. My review is voluntary.

They grew up as childhood friends, but could there ever be more? Prince Gustav, his younger brother Prince Christian and Countess Erika grew up together in Sweden. Christian and Erika were the best of friends and each began to have feelings for the other, when suddenly Erika had to go with her father, a diplomat to England. But before she leaves, there were talks of her to marry Gustav when they return to four years. Meanwhile Christian pines for her but eventually finds a way to be assigned as a diplomat for the king and travels to England. He cannot wait to see Erika! Such a wonderful story that takes a journey for these two to find their happy ever after! It takes awhile but in the end.... yes all will be well! I love Sasha Cottman and enjoy everything she writes!
