About this ebook

A true story of a little boy who is terrified of spiders grows up at the foothills of Himalayas, in a town called Shimla and encounters mad dogs on his way to school, and wild spiders around his house and even a ghost among other events. He has a little sister who seems braver than him at the time and even saves him on a few occasions. But her bravery and her naughty nature keep getting her in trouble from time to time which causes her family to panic as well as worry for her.

The “big” brother and his little sister live with their parents in a small, old house located on the 4th floor of a building which seems to be constructed almost at the top of a sloping valley on Cemetery Road, offering spectacular views of the entire city of Shimla. The boy owns few toys but finds great happiness and awe in staring out the window of his bedroom in appreciation of the vast beauty of nature as well as during terrifying storms. He also plays around with some custom-made toys for himself on the terrace.

The author narrates some of his most terrifying as well as thrilling adventures and misadventures as he grows up in the company of his naughty but protective sister.
