Sattar Alyshryda is a consultant trauma and paediatric orthopaedic surgeon who trained in the UK and Canada. He is a keen educator and has held hundreds of educational courses including Hip infant ultrasound, deformity correction, gait analysis, club foot, AO, ATLS, APLS, CCrISP and postgraduate paediatric courses. He is an international surgical adviser for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and was a surgical tutor of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is the General Secretary of the Middle East Paediatric Orthopaedic Society and was an executive board member of the British Society of the Children Orthopaedic Surgery (BSCOS 2017-2019). He edited several paediatric orthopaedic textbooks and authored over 50 peer reviewed papers and book sections.
Dr Lisa Jackson is Associate Professor of Family Medicine at MBRU and a practicing Family Doctor in Dubai and the United Kingdom. She completed her training in the UK, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners. She is an experienced undergraduate and postgraduate medical educator and Fellow of the Higher Education Authority.Dr Nandu Thalange is a paediatric endocrinologist with a large practice. He graduated from King’s College, London in 1988 and after completing training worked as a paediatric endocrinologist in the UK until 2017 before moving to Dubai, where he has established the service at Al Jalila Children’s Hospital. He has a significant record in under- and postgraduate education and research.
Dr. Ali Al Hammadi is the Director of Clinical Planning and Strategic Partnerships and is tasked with enhancing business performance at Al Jalila Children’s Specialty Hospital. He has several years of experience across revenue management, clinical administration, and project management. Dr. Ali holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Management from the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland, and completed his Bachelor’s degree in Medicine from UAE University, Al Ain. Starting out as a General Practitioner at the Ministry of Health and a Family Medicine Resident at Dubai Health Authority where he obtained his Membership of Royal College of General Practice (MRCGP) and Arab Board in Family Medicine. Dr. Ali was Project Manager at Dubai Health Authority and worked on the Dubai Government Employee Health Care Benefit Scheme (Enaya) and oversaw the business development and revenue of Hospital Services Sector at Dubai Health Authority. From 2011 to 2018, Dr. Ali managed Medical Administration and Medical Treatment Services at Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). On January 2018, Dr. Ali joined the Medical Sector at Dubai Healthcare City as Senior Director of Clinical Services and supervised operations strategy for the Medical Cluster. On June 2019, Dr. Ali moved to Al Jalila Children’s Specialty Hospital as Director of Operations.
