5 star Review Wicked Knight (The Wicked Horse Vegas # 5) by Sawyer Bennett This is the fifth and final book in the Wicked Horse Vegas series and it was smoking hot, deliciously naughty and romantic; I loved it. This is Asher Knight and Hannah Madigan’s story and may well be my favourite of the series. Wicked Knight has all the passion and fire that we have come to expect from this series as well as soul deep emotions that really force Asher and Hannah to look deep into themselves to seek their own truths. This book was well written and exciting to read, emotional and at times stressful as Asher and Hannah fought their emotional and personal demons to get the happily ever after they so deserved. I really loved these characters and was intrigued as Sawyer Bennett delved into their characters. Hot, raunchy and sexy; Wicked Knight has it all. I was glued to the pages from start to finish and I didn’t want it to end.

I really enjoyed this sexy, and emotional story. Asher has closed himself off from emotional attachments ever since his wife passed away. When his new sexy employee catches his attention, he finds a way to convince her to accompany him to play at the Wicked Horse. Hannah works hard to make enough money to fight for her daughter. Her cheating ex-husband burned her with his connections and she will do whatever it takes to gain custody of her daughter. When Asher makes an offer she can't refuse, she begins to have hope of hiring an attorney. But neither could anticipate the fiery connection they would have. Hannah never experienced the passion she and Asher share. Asher never expected to feel so much again. Together, they begin to heal all their brokenness and it scares them both. I loved the evolution of their relationship and how they helped each other to open their hearts again. They had great chemistry and their passion was off the charts. I definitely recommend this emotional, heartfelt, hot and sexy story.

Quite possibly my favourite Wicked Horse to date, Asher Knight is so easy to relate to and understand. Yes, he’s a multi millionaire, yes, he stays away from relationships, but he doesn’t particularly lie to himself or others. He’s had a failed relationship and he feels some responsibility for the end of that relationship (his wife didn’t open up to him and he didn’t make her). When struggling single working mum Hannah catches his eye (admittedly by accidentally smashing his $75,000 vase), he feels the need to protect her while also taking full advantage of her very amenable assets. Hannah should be offended by Asher’s offer, but she’s a practical girl, and all she wants is her daughter back in her life for good. A wonderful story, emotional in places, frustrating in parts (her ex truly is a douche), and with endearing characters. I was hooked from the get-go, as is regularly the case with Sawyer Bennett’s writing. We don’t get to see much of the Wicked Horse itself, but what we do see is, as you would expect is scorching hot. A full five star recommendation from me. I received an advanced copy of this book from the author, this is my honest review.
