again, apologies to the author whose books I normally love. I started to read this book and it was so similar to the story of my marriage, except for the fact that there was no bargain made. He pretended to love me until we got engaged, then Dr. Jekyll became Mr. Hyde and it took me 20 years to accept the fact that he never loved me and literally only wanted children. I was just a necessary evil. Starting out, this book was way too close to home and I couldn't go on.
