About the author
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Heiko Hamann ist Experte für Schwarmintelligenz, Schwarmrobotik, Evolutionäre Robotik und bio-hybride Systeme. Er ist Autor des Buchs "Swarm Robotics: A Formal Approach", das als Standardwerk zur Schwarmrobotik gilt. Heiko Hamann ist seit 2017 Professor für Service-Robotik an der Universität zu Lübeck und hat an der Universität Karlsruhe 2008 promoviert. Als Postdoc hat er am Zoologischen Institut der Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz vier Jahre lang geforscht und er war Juniorprofessor für Schwarmrobotik an der Universität Paderborn von 2013 bis 2017.
