Would love to hear this in an audiobook. I imagine the lilt and cadence of their speech. The language is grown up and a bit geeky. Thank goodness. The politeness is as I remember from the people I have met from Zimbabwe (earth).

An interesting concept, brilliantly developed. Maybe a little too esoteric towards the end, but I can't fault the journey. Well worth a read, even by non sci-fi fans, this borders on the anthropological rather than sci-fi/fantasy.
