A Screwtape Letters for the modern era, Apocalyptus Interruptus is a black comedy novella that explores the nature of evil and forgiveness, set in a world that’s teetering on the brink of the Apocalypse when Satan decides to call the whole thing off so that he can repent and seek God’s forgiveness.
He’s paired with an atheist government official who acts as his bodyguard as he goes on a tour to make his case and reassure people that the world isn’t about to end. Meanwhile, Christians and Satanists, determined that the End shall come right on schedule despite a repentant Satan, work together to get the course of prophetic events back on track.
