About this eBook

The perfect fake marriage to get the guy she always wanted...

Blake hated the thought of coming back home, a home that was broken and unfamiliar. Her parents were gone, and her brother, when she needed him the most, was in the NAVY SEALS, far away, and unconcerned with how she was dealing with their parent's death.

Now, because he's a father, and she's an aunt. Is she supposed to just forgive and forget, live life like they were a happy little family? No thanks.

Aiden, Blake's older brother's best friend, and buddy from the SEALS was one bonus for returning home. He was tall, dark, beautiful, and she'd had a crush on him since she was just a little girl. Now, he offered her something that she never thought she'd have again, a family, even if it were pretend.

A perfect set up. He gets his mother and Abeula off his back, she gets to marry the man she'd always wanted... And who knows, maybe if she can get his attention while living in his house and pretending to be his wife, she may actually get a family, true love, and everything she's always wanted.

Felt like I was reading another wattpad book. The writing is immature, characters are underdeveloped, sequence of events are illogical. Nothing feels sincere/organic. Our female protagonist is in love with the guy but still resists after he tries to make an effort to know her? You're married for goodness sake and as far as I know (the reader) there is no termination period, so why not let it happen? Go on the dates, sleep in the same bed (you're an adult, sleeping in the same bed with someone doesn't mean anything) especially after a night of "passionate lovemaking". Speaking of passion,it's close to none existent, the writer tries to sell it to me (the reader) that they're in love by making references to their childhood feelings, that's not enough for me. Lust does not translate to love. Maybe the author should have spent some time expressing the love more clearly than writing sex scenes. I could not finish the book but the few chapters I'd read were enough to stop my progression.

Sweet story but rather predictable in parts. A light easy read with the happily ever after ending rather nice although it would have benefited from a epilolgue of one year later when both Abella's met their grandbaby.

This was an awful lot of drama over one romance. I got tired of the confusion and misunderstanding caused because neither one of the couple had the stamina to just say 3 little words. It is well written, the characters are appealing and the supporting cast well drawn. If you have the patience, you'll probably enjoy this.
