About this ebook

Texas trophy wife Claudia Grant dies after she causes an early morning car accident. In the other vehicle, Daniel Morrison, an attorney struggling with a pending divorce and pill addiction, panics and leaves the scene. The victim’s husband, congressional candidate Hayden Grant, is a corrupt politician who seizes the opportunity and places a million-dollar reward on Morrison’s capture. Dead or alive. Daniel is on the run. Roya Navarro, a determined San Antonio police detective, is hot on his trail with local law enforcement, county sheriffs, a hungry journalist, and trigger-happy citizens all across the Lone Star state out on the hunt for the bounty.

GUNBARREL HIGHWAY - Slow start but the story picked up the pace and didn't slow down. Good characters and interesting story lines with the location set in Texas. For once, an author that doesn't insult the State and her Native population as part of the story. Source: BookSirens. 4*

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Daniel Morrison walked up late and the rest of the day gets worst. He's in an accident that a woman causes and dies. He leaves the scene of the accident because he just took some pills. The woman's husband is in politics and says that it's Daniel's faught not good wife. What will happen to Daniel?
