The story and the characters are captivating. This series has kept me securely in it's clutches from book one. Minor grammatical errors/occasionally confusing wordage that my OCD brain quickly autocorrected. Definitely not enough to deter me from blazing through 3 books. It takes the trifecta of amazing characters, well laid out storyline, and an excellent ebb and flow of plot progression to catch AND KEEP my attention. This series, thus far, has demonstrated all 3 for me. I express my heartfelt thanks to the author for a well-written world in which to escape and well-rounded characters in whom I can truly feel those bonds of "the family you choose" versus "the family you're born into."
