Tanner and Bree are back and it wouldn't be Janie Crouch if we didn't get a healthy dose of suspense and danger with our romance. This couple has such great chemistry, and they just fit together - even when one of them is holding something back. As I've come to expect from this author, this is one of those stories that sucks you in and holds on tight. It's suspenseful enough that I blew right past that just one more chapter I kept promising myself - several times. There are a couple of likely suspects and just enough dangling carrots to keep me bouncing back and forth right up to the big reveal, which is definitely edge of your seat kind of stuff. On the relationship front, Bree and Tanner take another step forward as they get closer, and it's just enough to leave me wanting more of this wonderful couple. All in all, a great addition to a series that I can't get enough of.

Security Risk is book 2 in the Bree and Tanner series. We met Bree and Tanner in Calculated Risk. Although this can be read as a stand alone I highly recommend reading Calculated Risk for the little nuances in their relationship. I really enjoyed watching her grow. I have to say the beginning through me for a loop with Tanner. OMW I was hurting. As Tanner is set up for murders Bree does what she knows best. The line Bree and Tanner walk, is a tough one, and needless to say there is a little crossing of the line, nothing is black and white. I appreciate the steamy kisses. I am with Bree, more against the wall please, ha! The first time the guilty party meets Bree I knew that's who it was. They did a great job with the red herring, I was waffling. Enjoyed the interaction with Tanners family and excited about the future Bree is working out. I can't wait to see what Janie Crouch has up her sleeve for book 3. I would love to see some more Noah :) UM UM UM Thankful for the arc! All thoughts and opinions are my own and were unsolicited.

This is book 2 in The Risk Series and we are back with Bree and Tanner. Tanner is being framed for multiple murders. As he and Bree try to figure it out, the body count is rising. This is an amazing suspenseful romance. The many twists and turns sometimes leave you with your mouth hanging open. Just when you thought you had it all figured out…PLOT TWIST! This is a crazy awesome ride! The story line was filled with just enough cat and mouse games to keep you sitting on the edge of your seat through it all. The adventure was great and the characters were diverse. I can’t wait to see what’s next for Bree and Tanner.
