Über dieses E-Book

The explosive continuation of the Evergreen series from New York Times bestselling author Cassia Leo.

Two to six weeks. That’s how long it takes, on average, to get a divorce in Oregon.

With Jack convinced I betrayed him, I expect to be served divorce papers within hours of moving out. But weeks pass without word from Jack, and the papers never arrive. Though my heart isn’t ready to give up on him, I can’t shake the feeling that we may be better off apart. And Isaac is more than happy to help me move on.

But just as I begin to build some semblance of a life and career, a new and improved Jack arrives on my doorstep. Divorce papers are the furthest thing from his mind as he delivers news that both shatters me and restores my faith in the love we shared. But is it too late for us?

Seed by the incredibly talented author Cassia Leo is the second book in the Evergreen Series. Seed is not a standalone. You must read the previous book, Dirt, first. In Seed Laurel, Isaac and Jack´s story continues. Seed picks up where Dirt left off. Jack demanded a divorce and Laurel daily expects to be served with divorce papers. But weeks pass without words from Jack. Laurel´s torn. Should she close this chapter of her life, or hold onto hope? Her heart isn´t ready to give up, her mind says maybe it would be better to move on. And there´s still her neighbor Isaac. Isaac was severely wounded and is now back. He´s healing slowly, healing on body and soul. And he´s too happy to help Laurel move on. And then Jack´s back. And so much has changed. He isn´t the man he was before. Seed is just like Dirt, a raw and gritty read. Dirt ended and I was like - What?? Now?? I need the next book, real bad. I couldn´t wait to get my hands on Seed. I started reading and I was sucked into the story immediatedly. Seed gutted me. I could feel every emotion, every bit of guilt, despair and pain in the words. These three characters have so much pain to endure. In the end Seed left me breathless with my brain screaming, I need more ! Seed is a complex story with many layers. One character is a hot mess and tries to put it´s life back together, the other makes a last attempt at justice. And then are twists and turns I never, ever had expected. I can´t get the book out of my head. It stubbornly stays. I highly recommend Seed and can´t wait to read the final installment, Bloom.

Autoren-Profil

New York Times bestselling author Cassia Leo loves her coffee, chocolate, and margaritas with salt. When she’s not writing, she spends way too much time re-watching Game of Thrones and Sex and the City. When she’s not binge watching, she’s usually enjoying the Oregon rain with a hot cup of coffee and a book.
