Wilder With You: A Steamy Small-Town Romantic Comedy

Cute fake romance gone right Clark and Jessa meet in the wilderness with all of Clark’s siblings after Jessa’s friend is unable to come there. On the same trip is Rueben, Jessa’s ex-husband, a famous author. Clark is still not over his wife who passed away two years ago. One thing leads to another and the two start fake dating. Sweet moments and steamy hot occasions. Cute lovely romantic read.

Clark and Jessa fake relationship, second chance at love story in Wilder with You by Serena Bell, book three in her Wilder Adventures series, is a wonderful, heartwarming romance about a strong outdoorsman and a wedding planner. Clark Wilder a widow, still grieving for the loss of his wife two years on is an outdoor survival expert, bearded, has muscles for days and is the strong and silent, mysterious type of man. Jessa Olsen, a wedding planner who goes on one of Clark's glamping survival trips. is sweet and understanding but also has a naughty side to her; like so many of the heroines in this series. She is divorced after discovering her ex-cheated on her and wrote a book about it. Neither Clark nor Jessa believe they will find love again, let alone anytime soon. When Jessa’s sees that her ex-husband is on the same trip as her with his new girlfriend, Clark steps up, instead of allowing her to be bullied, Clark steps up, telling everyone he and Jess are together. This fake relationship works not only to keep her ex away but it also keeps Clark’s worried family off his back. Spending time together, to proud their “relationship” is “real” has them growing closer as they unlock their hearts as they learn to love and trust again. Not to mention acting on the magnetic attraction and off-the wall chemistry these two share. Being with Clark gave Jessa’s confidence a boost and allows Clark to realize it was okay to move on from his loss. Ms. Bell included secondary characters, one who was non-binary, non gender specific, and another character, a lesbian, opening up the discussion, acceptance and support of this lifestyle. I admire and respect her for introducing this topic to her reading community. Ms. Bell wrote a wonderful, emotional, and heartwarming story that should not be missed. She provided a tale rich with sizzling chemistry, strong magnetism, family dynamics, clever banter, the magic of love, and endearing characters giving Clark and Jessa a second chance at love, happiness, and a future neither expected. I highly recommend Wilder with You to other readers and look forward to which Wilder gets his story in the next book in the series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Wilder With You is the 3rd book in the Wilder Adventures series and this is Clark Wilder's story. Clark Wilder is still mourning the loss of his wife even two years later. He loved Emma and feels guilty if he were to move on. One day Jessa Olsen catches his eye but she was friends with Emma so she has to be off limits. After Jessa found her now ex-husband in bed with someone else she knew she needed to get on with her life so she convinced her best friend Imani to go on a Gilderness Adventure with the Wilder Adventure Company. At the last minute Imani has to cancel and Jessa is left by herself. This wouldn't be a problem, but Clark is one of the tour guides and Jessa is attracted to him. But then guess who else shows up.....yep....ex-husband Reuben and his new girlfriend, Corinna! When Reuben goes to introduce Corinna to Jessa, Clark overhears and quickly decides to jump in and help Jessa by pretending to be her boyfriend! This starts to whole pretend to be boyfriend/girlfriend charade. When the news of Clark's "girlfriend" quickly runs through his large family, Clark and Jessa are forced to continue on with the fake relationship. Of course the more time these two spend together, the hotter their chemistry becomes until they cross that line. Everything is going well until ghosts from the past come back to threaten them and things fall apart. It will take some deep down thinking from both Jessa and Clark to finally get their happy ending but they do in great, dramatic style! I just loved this fake relationship love story! Clark was such a great, alpha male who was stuck in the past. It was fun watching him fall for his pretend girlfriend. Jessa was a sweet heroine who had a lot of baggage from her past but it was enjoyable watching these two get together for real. I also enjoyed the little sneak peak into Kane's story!
