About the author

Dr Sergey Balandin runs high-tech SMEs and is Adjunct Professor at Tampere University, Finland. He is the President of FRUCT Association and Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Embedded and Real-Time Communication Systems, as well as a member of ARCES at the University of Bologna, Italy. He is an author of five books and over 100 papers, and has edited over 50 proceedings and volumes.

Vladimir Deart is a Professor at MTUCI University, Russia, and Training Manager of the Nokia Training Center in Moscow. He is the author of more than 70 publications on analytical and simulation models of new telecommunication technologies.

Valtteri Niemi is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Helsinki, Finland, where he leads the Secure Systems Research Group. He previously served as Professor of Mathematics at the University of Vaasa, Finland, and the University of Turku, Finland. He is the author of more than 80 scientific articles, and he is the co-author of four books.
