She’s met a cute guy who is possibly more socially awkward than she is. She’s got a new birthmark that her mother seems to know something of and yet won’t tell Alyssa a thing about it.

*sigh* i really was wanting to like this book!!! but you know when your listening to someone talk and their telling you something and it's like damn just get to the actual story here ... that's how I felt LOL took me days to find a book that I'd thought I'd like I've read every good vampire witch shifter series you can think of maybe I'll try another book from this author hoping it's not a theme with their writing....

It was a pleasure to read a book where the visuals painted of a magical world flowed and the language was tight and proofreading good compared to many bestsellers out there. A sweet coming-of-age romance between a witch and warlock attending university is a fresh change from high school type scenarios. The book got better as it went along. My only complaint was that some of the action like Alyssa’s magic could have started off the book to hook the reader in. More showing, and less telling…
