Mina, seventeen, who has Downs Syndrome, desperate to be like everyone else, falling into the hands of men who abuse her trust ...

Twins Larry and Francey, ten, scarcely human after an upbringing of savage and unimaginable cruelty ...

One inspiring account of how one man got to know these wounded children and tried to give them hope - and a future.

WOW!... I read this book in just a few days... I just couldn't put it down and read it at every opportunity... I came across the Shane Dunphy books after reading every single one of Cathy Glass the Foster carer she writes brilliant true stories and I didn't ever think would find other books I enjoy so much but came across the Shane Dunphy books and The Wednesdays Child series appealed to me most and I was not disappointed... I really recommend these books and the next in the series is downloaded and ready to read next 👌 I was especially interested in the Byrne twins story those poor children went through the most terrible forms of torture you wouldn't think humanly possible to inflict on anyone ever let alone there very own children... Totally sick and heartbreaking... I'm looking forward to reading the next book to find out more about those dear twins ❤️💙 All in all this is a 5 star read 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🤗👍
