This cookbook really stands out! It is filled with yummy, hearty recipes that can be easily added to your cooking repertoire. Even better, the ingredients are easy to find locally which helps with a low waste lifestyle. I definitely recommend this book!

About the author

A native of Taiwan, the author has received higher education and professional training in Australia, Canada and England. Shanwen 's background is in commerce, commercial interior design as well as environmental sustainability. She is a vocal advocate for healthy, balanced living in combination with educated food consumption, mental and physical fitness, and environmental consciousness.

The first in this series of books on sustainable living is “Vegan Home Cook Takeover”. Her passion for food is the vessel through which the joys of preparing simple, healthy, plant-based food is shared with everyone.
