A Very Grumpy New Year

This is the 5th book in the Wolf Valley:A Very Grumpy Holiday series featuring Huxley and Cora's OTT holiday love story. Huxley is in love with Cora and he's been obsessed with her since she moved to Wolf Valley. However he hasn't made his feelings known to her or pursued her although he does feel incredibly protective of her though. When he sees the rental that she's living in Huxley knows that it's not good enough for his woman so he gets it condemned. Huxley then has Cora move in with him not knowing that she has feelings for him as well. Will Huxley ruin everything he's ever wanted now that he's got it because of how he deceived Cora to get it? 3.75 1- 4 stars. Huxley certainly knew what he wanted and wasn't afraid to do something about it, I thought Cara handled the reveal of his actions very well. They had good connection and chemistry, good support from friends and I liked reading their sweet, a little OTT story. Huxley wanted to be more with Cora and when she needs to find another place he volunteers to have her as his roommate. What happens next was a cute quick romance story that did not disappoint. I enjoyed his protectiveness toward Cora and their HEA.
