All these venues are captured by Greg Abbott with a true savant’s perspective, in a fast-paced, highly readable tale that nonetheless fits together like a grand jigsaw puzzle. Challenges, tragedies, and surprises abound in marriage, education, high finance, child rearing, near-death illness, the occult, rap music, the media, and prison. As the characters develop in fascinating, unforeseen directions and discover their true destinies, for better or for worse, the reader is treated to a large and delectable story chock full of tragedy, intrigue, humor, injustice, vengeance, betrayal, redemption, and always the unexpected. In the end, through all the breathless tribulations, Sheer Madness is about the triumph of love and the human spirit.

Not to be confused with the governor of Texas, Greg Abbott has been a successful entrepreneur: building the USA’s largest private label underwear, pantyhose, and T-shirt company; ushering in the internet revolution with EarthLink; creating and commercializing one of the world’s most significant food & beverage packaging innovations. A one-time scratch golfer and New York City marathoner, he will play the piano and sing for any female who will listen. He is a graduate of Choate, Princeton, and the Canaan Federal Penitentiary. He is also the author of Sheer Pressure (the prequel to Sheer Madness) and The United States vs. Abbott, et al. A Love Story.
