Losing It is the first in Shelli Stevens' Bro Code series. Blake Avery stops by a friend's birthday party to give him his regards. No longer much of a partier, he's counting the minutes until he can politely make his excuses and head home. He's surprised when a cute woman with a great laugh catches his eye, and even more surprised when she seems to want to get to know him better. Kristen Watson's celebrating her graduation by visiting her old hometown, and she plans to use the week to rid herself of her now pesky V-card. Her BFF Tori's got her back, and is determined to help her find the right candidate for the job. Sparks fly when Kristen meets Blake at a friend's party. He's captivated by her quick laugh and confidence, and would love to get to know her better. That plan comes to a screeching halt when they discover that Kristen is Blake's good friend's baby sister. As much as Kristen appeals to him, Blake can't break the bro code--and getting it on with a friend's sister is a flagrant violation. That said, he makes a promise to take over for Tori and help Kristen find the right guy...while trying to convince himself that he isn't that guy. Ms Stevens does a terrific job with this best friend's little sister/V-card story. Kristen and Blake's chemistry is undeniable and their growing friendship is also a pleasure to watch develop. They manage to be engaging, vulnerable, and all too real, which makes their story a page-turner. Ms Stevens also provides an excellent supporting cast of family and friends, and I can't wait to read the next in this series!

A excellent start to a new series, Losing It by Stelli Stevens. I've enjoyed books by this author in the past but this book hit it out of the ball park for me. Since it's book one in the Bro Code series I can't wait to see what comes next in this series.

A new author for me and first book in a series that looks like it could be fun if this is any indication No major drama no heartbreak just a fun read that kept me entertained I would say that it is probable batter for a younger demographic but as a older reader I enjoyed it as well Newly minted paramedic Blake Wolfe is instantly attracted to a woman he sees across a crowded room and he thinks they could have something that is until he finds out she is his best friends younger sister making her off limits due to the Bro Code. Kristen Watson is just as attracted and it doesn't matter how many men she flirts with she can't forget Blake Will they give in to the temptation You will have to read to see
