This is a VERY brief sketch illustrating how incredibly destructive BDSM can be if the sub does not have a very strong sense of self. She had been a "slave" to another dom who had so separated her from herself all she could do was sit hugging her legs, rocking, and whispering comfort phrases. Fortunately a more sensitive dom had "purchased" her to attempt a rescue. That's it, sum and substance. No action, no character development, just a description of damage. IMO it is a disgusting and VERY, VERY frightening piece of writing.

solid 4.5 - loved the character development - there were some choices that obviously had to be made for the story, but to be honest, the simple fixes that were avoided kind of drove me batty, but I love the book still. Dark content without going in depth, but still gives all the emotion.

Well written with enough interest in the characters to want to know more. I liked the way the author was able to let you know what was happening without going into every detail but enough to not have to guess...a Great read!

Sherri picked up her first romance novel when she was twelve and immediately she was hooked. She would stay up reading long after everyone else in her house had gone to bed, needing to see the hero and heroine get their happily ever after. But Sherri never imagined becoming an author.
