Marilyn Johnson
This is book seven in the Mission Rescue series, I believe it is a stand a lone book for I had no problem understanding what was going on. I did, however, think this was a part of a series before I looked to be sure just by the way it was written. Now I want to go back and read the entire series. I fell in love with all the characters in this book and want to read their own story. Shirlee McCoy does a great job at putting you right in the middle of the lives of those involved. You understand their feelings, emotion and struggles. You feel like a part of the group. I loved Trinity Miller, she is a fun, spunky, smart girl who is trying to help out a dear friend. She just happens to find herself in more trouble than usual. When she is mistaken for someone she is not. Will she be able to stay alive and help her friend or are they both just to complicated to figure out. Mason Gains is a character all to himself. There is more to him than most people realize. When Trinity is mistaken for his girlfriend, he must wonder her true motive for being on his property. Is she an innocent bystander or does she have alerter motives. The attraction, dialogue and circumstances Mason and Trinity find themselves in are great. I look forward to reading more from this author. She is a great suspense, mystery and of course romance writer.
