प्रस्तुत कृति ‘माई अन्नोन फ्यूचर (नतीजा प्यार का)’ का मैंने विहंगम दृष्टि से अवलोकन किया, जिसका मुख्य उद्देश्य नवयुवकों को अंधकार से निकालकर, सुखद भावी जीवन में प्रवेश कराना है। लेखक का मंतव्य है कि जिन नवयुवकों में अपूर्व क्षमता एवं गुणवत्ता का भंडार है, वे यदि अपनी उस ऊर्जा का प्रयोग सुनियोजित ढंग से करें तो सफलता के चरम बिन्दु तक आसानी से पहुंच सकते हैं, लेकिन उम्र के कच्चे पड़ाव व चांचल्य चित्त-वृत्तियों के वशीभूत होकर, प्यार व भावना में कैद होकर, अपने लक्ष्य से भटककर अंधे-अनजान भविष्य की ओर अग्रसर हो जाते हैं। वास्तव में यह उनके भविष्य पर लगा ग्रहण-काल होता है, जिससे नवयुवक स्वयं तो दुखी होता है, साथ-ही-साथ उसकी आभा-प्रतिभा का लाभ समाज, परिवार और राष्ट्र को भी नहीं मिल पाता। चाहकर भी कमजोर मन इन असामयिक विषयी दुर्बलताओं से मुक्त नहीं हो पाता है। समयोपरान्त वह केवल पश्चाताप की अग्नि में झुलसता है, जिससे वर्तमान खण्डहर तथा भविष्य उजड़ा चमन लगता है।
