I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports. I am a liar, a deceiver, a devil in the dark. She's mine and she will soon learn there is no escape when fate says she belongs to me This is a second chance romance in the Street Kings Series from Sienna Snow. If I was you and I hadn't read the first two book you might want to go and do that first which mean, lucky you, you have three books in the series to read. This is the story of Lilly and Rey and if you are looking for a hearts and flowers romance then you are not going to find that here. Which if ok. Because all great things in life are worth fight for always and forever. I love my second chance romance stories to have an edge of them and Sienna Snow always hits her books right out of the park. Rey King is a member of the King family and believe me when I say you do not want to mess with him, ever. However he is missing the woman he loves and want's her back. Lily is one of the best strongest female characters I do believe I have read in a good while. She is a woman working undercover and her main motivation for that is to keep the man she loves safe while staying on top of her game plan. Rey doesn't know she is doing this or does he? I could go on and one about this story but that would also mean a greater chance of saying something that I really shouldn't This is one of those books you want to read and know someone else who has read it so you can discuss it for hours if you wanted to. I am so in love with this Street Kings Series. Grab these book and enjoy the journeys I know that I certainly have.

Deceptive Knight is Book 3 in The Street Kings interconnected series. Books can be read as stand-alone’s, but to get the most out of the series I would highly recommend reading books in order. With each book we are pulled deeper into the Kings world and there isn’t anything these men won’t do for the ones they love. Sienna continues to build the suspense behind how their world works and the players at the table. These characters are complicated. Their lives are messy and raw. This is a dark romance that takes us into a world where rules are meant to be broken. Rey and Lilly’s second chance is littered with lies, not all bad, but those you tell to protect the ones you love. Lilly’s walls are mountainous and all Rey wants is to tear them down. Their chemistry is scorching and they are so in tune to one another. Fate made it so there was no one else for either of them…or Rey just “dickmatized” Lilly… I mean who would complain either way? Reyhan King had many faces, as does Lillian Lennox, their jobs required it to be so. We are immersed in the world of the CIA, Interpol, and the BND in this very intriguing tale. Told in dual first person narrative. We begin 8 months ago and travel to and from the past and present as we learn all about Rey and Lilly’s relationship. Their affair should have never of began. They should have never fallen in love. Both undercover working their jobs it happened anyway. Then Lilly made a choice, one that destroyed them, but ultimately saved Rey. Then she disappeared. Pawns in a larger game, unbeknownst to them, they find themselves face to face. Rey manipulates the situation to bring Lilly out of hiding. But, this just makes the plans of the people pulling the strings that much easier. As they come together for a job, one that is supposed to right all of Lilly’s wrongs, what they had together all those months ago resurfaces and is stronger than ever. The powers that be are in for a rude awakening…

The irony!!! or maybe it was just Karma's way of saying Hi I about dropped my kindle when the devious plan a certain someone set in motion came to light Reyhan and Lilly have a turbulent history (that is putting it kindly) These two are level 5 combustible when in the proximity of each other - The past has left them both with some unresolved "issues" (I laugh as I write this as it is such an understatement when describing them) Now, years later they find themselves having to trust the other if they want to live to see another day Action 🎬 Adventure 🃏 Betrayals ♟ Twists and Suspense 🎲 Smexy moments ☄ This has it all! You need to read this series in order to understand who is who and what's going on in the background It is such a wonderfully diverse cast that brings the action to life and draws the reader in I found myself flinching, looking away (only to realize I had to look back to find out what happens), wanting to peek ahead to ensure everyone survived (I didn't but the struggle was real) And don't even get me started on the chemistry between Rey and Lilly Holy Hades This is one of the better organized crime series IMO Well written storylines that interconnect A diverse cast of characters that are easy to connect with
