Buku ini merupakan catatan kuliah bagi mahasiswa saya di Teknik Telekomunikasi - Institut Teknologi Bandung.
Matakuliah “Ekonomi, Bisnis, Regulasi & Kebijakan Telekomunikasi” merupakan matakuliah yang saya kembangkan sejak tahun 1988. Semula matakuliah ini bernama “ Bisnis & Interkoneksi Telekomunikasi”, Lalu berubah menjadi “Regulasi & Kebijakan Telekomunikasi”. Dan sejak kurikulum 2013 – 2018, matakuliah ini bernama “Ekonomi, Bisnis, Regulasi & Kebijakan Telekomunikasi”.
Isi kuliah ada 11 bab, sesuai yang tercantum di halaman berikut. Intinya pada kuliah ini, saya berniat mengajarkan tentang Regulasi dan Kebijakan Telekomunikasi, baik yang berlaku di dunia maupun di Indonesia. Agar dapat mempelajari berbagai hal terkait Regulasi & Kebijakan Telekomunikasi, sebelumnya kita perlu mempelajari prinsip ilmu hukum, ilmu kebijakan negara / administrasi negara dan ilmu ekonomi. Akan semakin baik pula, jika kita memahami dasar & prinsip teknik telekomunikasi, terutama terkait arsitektur jaringan dan rekayasa trafik telekomunikasi.
Saya berharap buku catatan kuliah ini bermanfaat bagi pembacanya.

About the author

 Sigit Haryadi is lecturer in ITB (Bandung Institute of Technology), Indonesia, since 1984. Currently teaches several courses: Traffic Engineering, Quality and Regulatory Services Telecommunications and Regulations.
In addition to teaching at the ITB, Sigit Haryadi also becomes experts at the Directorate General of Post and Telecommunication Indonesia since 1986. Experience in the industry: since 1990 to become an expert in some Providers and Telecom Operators in Indonesia.
Since 2001, Sigit Haryadi became associate professor in the institution.
