Jeanine Basinger is Chair of the Film Studies Program and Corwin-Fuller Professor of Film Studies at Wesleyan University, and Curator of the Cinema Archives there. She is the author of The "It's a Wonderful Life" Book, The World War II Combat Film: Anatomy of a Genre, Anthony Mann, American Cinema: 100 Years of Filmmaking, and A Woman's View: How Hollywood Spoke to Women, 1930-1960.
