About this eBook

Detective Kate Morgan has settled into her position and, although straining under her new caseload, is working hard. Simon is still a big question mark in her world—and his “gift” even more so. Dealing with a frustrating series of drive-by shootings has brought a three-year-old drive-by case to the forefront …

Simon had hoped that his visions would have stopped, especially now that the police had solved the pedophile murders. No such luck. But these new visions are confusing, chaotic, and nonsensical. Unwilling to share yet more disjointed and meaningless information with Kate, he keeps it to himself. Until he sees a pattern and connects to a woman, … one who is suicidal.

While Kate understands his physical and mental torment, she’s underwhelmed by the lack of detail in his latest visions—until she looks into another issue and finds out that the number of suicides are higher than normal, as in way higher …

Captivated, intrigued and entertained me. Score! I was eagerly waiting for book 2 in Dale Mayers new series, Kate Morgan Thrillers, and she delivered. It was awesome seeing Detective Kate start to build a rapport with her team mates. One of the reasons I love this series is I feel like I am seeing the crime results and working the scene right along with Kate and the team. If your not into psychics do *not* shy away. This is not your standard paranormal psychic story. You see, feel Simon struggle, you see him trying to live his life, a life he built from a horrible abusive childhood. Speaking of Simon does anyone else think that selfish ex girl friend is going to pop up and cause havoc? I sure hope not. Suicide is not an easy subject, to see it compacted with cyber bulling is scary. I appreciate the way Dale Mayer addresses no matter what your going through, if you leave someone behind, that you profess to love, you have destroyed their lives, caused them immeasurable pain in your quest to stop yours. Pls reach out there is help. In this second book we see Kate continue to struggle with Simon's psychic ability as she slowly accepts bits and pieces. Their relationship is 1 step forward, 2 step back. I think the team is having a huge impact on acceptance. Yea team. Grab the book, step into a whole new world, one you won't want to leave. Thank you for the arc. All thoughts and opinions are my own, which I freely share.

This is book #2 in an exciting new series written by Dale Mayer. I have fallen for the new characters who are compelling with equally interesting backgrounds. The interchange between these people keeps me reading and wanting more. Kate being the new homicide detective and the group she is working with is part of the draw. Her friend Simon St. Laurant is not enjoying his new found psychic gift which he is blaming on his grandmother and Kate is becoming a believer much against her better judgement. The subject matter, a sensitive one, is dealt with quite well. I'm looking forward to reading more and can't wait for Book #3.

This is the second book in Dale Mayer's "Simon says" series and it is fast becoming one of my favourites. After a rough start, Homicide Detective Kate Morgan had settled into her job at the Vancouver PD, the team now accepted and respected her especially after she closed down a huge paedophile ring. Kate had received help on the paedophile case, but it was help that she was uncomfortable with and didn't understand. Wealthy Simon St. Laurant was a business man, he was quietly benevolent to needy people who he befriended.....he was also a psychic. Simon didn't want this "gift", he had seen how his grandmother had suffered when people found out that she had visions, she was outcast, this troubled Simon, he didn't want the same fate but he couldn't ignore the visions, they had helped Kate solve the paedophile case and brought them closer, he liked being close to Kate. When Kate realised that the number of suicides jumping from the Lion's Gate Bridge had shot up all her instincts were telling her that it was more than coincidence but all the forensics pointed to suicide, plain and simple. When Simon started getting visions again Kate was more confused than ever, she liked Simon a lot but could she trust him ? This is a suspense filled story of suicide, cyber bullying, manipulation and of course the unknown. Whether you believe in psychic powers or not this is a great story with great characters plus it has the blossoming romance between Kate and Simon. I can't wait for the next book in the series
