I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.In this story you get to find out how Hickman meets his wife , why she is important in other parts to this series.You see how everyone is getting along .you get to meet the new baby of Charlotte, james,Michael. While Hickman is recognized by Frankie De palo a Chicago crime boss from his past and needs his friend's klempners help while also bring in others to help. frankie De palo what's a war he's getting it.

If you've followed Simone Leigh's work, then you know her characters and what she and they are capable of. If you haven't, then get ready for the ride of your life. "Best Served Cold Box Set One" takes an almost innocuous character and shows the impact one person can have on so many. If you haven't read the series as they were published, you can binge from the prequel through book three but, as I said, hang on to your seat

The author has given us a heart pounding series with this collection. Our attention is grabbed from the very first page. When danger comes for our friends (from previous stories) they must work together to keep everyone safe. Lots of twists and turns, danger and action.
