Ein Taschendiebstahl direkt vor Eurer Nase!“ Tatsächlich sind die Borkumer Kommissare Mona Sander und Enno Moll gerade auf Patrouille unterwegs, als sie diese Meldung erreicht. Das ist natürlich sehr ärgerlich, aber sie können schließlich nicht überall gleichzeitig sein. Als sie das Eigentumsdelikt aufnehmen, treffen sie auf eine gut gelaunte Kegler-Truppe, die dem Ganzen auch nicht allzu viel Bedeutung beimisst. Doch der Diebstahl war erst der Anfang, eine Spirale kommt in Gang, es folgt eine Entführung und dann ein Mord - und immer stehen die Kegler im Fokus! Es gibt zwar etliche mögliche Verdächtige, doch keiner kommt so wirklich zwingend für die Taten infrage. Und völlig unklar ist, warum der Täter an jedem Tatort auf Borkum einen roten Spielwürfel hinterlässt. Ist es ein Hinweis? Eine Warnung? Oder soll er einfach nur Verwirrung stiften? Monas Hartnäckigkeit ist es zu verdanken, dass sie endlich einen Durchbruch erzielen und sich plötzlich alles logisch zusammenfügt. Aber damit ist der Täter noch lange nicht überführt...
