This review was written by Marie for a guest review post on Ever After Book Reviews blog: 5 Stars Every once in a while, a story comes along that takes you by surprise and leaves you desperately wishing it never had to come to an end. Sinner’s Revenge is one of those books. I am not a huge fan of MC series. The names are always extremely cheese-tastic, and most of them go completely over the top with the MC lingo, attitude and lifestyle. And while Sinner’s Revenge follows the same blueprint as most other MC books, it also takes a giant leap off the beaten path and takes you down a road you’ll never see coming. Shady and Diem are absolutely insane. Both of them are beyond “effed up.” They’ve led interesting, if not difficult, lives, and are two people who should probably seek some serious therapy. And yet, somehow, in a wonderful comedy of events, their volatile situation, and a past connection, bring these two seemingly unlovable characters closer and soften their rough, tough as nails hearts. The story realistically sheds light on two people struggling to find solace in other people, and their journey to open their hearts is full of anger, fear, adventure, hilariously awesome attitudes, and finally, a clumsy eroticism that builds until it eventually explodes in a delightful array of emotion that reaches even the coldest of souls. I fell in love with these two and rooted for them to find their truly righteous ending. It is stories like this that keep even the most cynic creatures holding on to a beautiful hope. ***I read and reviewed a paperback copy of the book gifted to the blog, from the publisher, in exchange for an honest review. All conclusions reached are my own***
