Seven Wardens Complete . . . This is the complete series of “SEVEN WARDENS”, a fantasy reverse harem series filled with Scottish Mythology. Below is a review of the first book in this collection where the Wardens are being gathered. It’s a bit long but will help you get the “Big Picture” before you dive into this delightful collection. Titles included are: 1. From the Deeps 2. Through the Storms (novella) 3. Into the Mists 4. Beneath the Earth 5. Within the Flames 6. Above The Waves 7. Below The Baubles (novella) 8. Under The Ice 9. Rule The Dark 10. Inside the Egg (novella) 11. Beyond The Loch (prequel) *** Reviewing “FROM THE DEEPS (#1)” *** Macey is a kelpie princess living on land. But as part of the agreement when her father allowed her to live on land, she has to have her magic bound and inaccessible. Intervening to stop her arguing brothers, she then went to her room to read. The lights went out and the boys did not answer her calls. She opened the front door and a mist surrounded the house, so she stepped outside and carefully moved through the mist. Her grandmother had told her of an old legend where Immortals created fogs to hide themselves from humans when they walked on Earth. And sometimes humans were helped by “mysterious beings”, never knowing who had helped them. She called for her brothers, Jerry and Bruce. Her foot hit something and she bent down in the midst, finding her brothers unconscious. A dark shape, created from the mist, appeared and she was afraid. Because along with those old tales of humans being helped, there were also tales of the fàth-fiata bringing great harm and evil. Had something been done to her brothers? Something touched her face and whispered RUN, but she would not leave her brothers and something hit her head from behind as she crumpled to the ground. She awoke to the sound of voices. A man who said he was not human, Camdan, had kidnapped her but has no idea why except that it “felt right”. None of the men knew where the Staran (ley lines) had taken them, except it was where they needed to be. Camdan said only one of “his kind” can use the Staran, so she would have to travel with one of them; however, until they have done what the Staran wanted them to do to fulfill their purpose, they won’t be allowed to leave. When she got angry at Cam who asked if she was a mermaid or selkie, she grabbed his throat and he immediately knew not only that she was a kelpie but was a member of the Royal family. How did he know? His two friends, Flint and Jared, want to help her discover the purpose for them being brought together since the Staran won’t let any of them leave now, preventing her from returning to Earth from her house in the Mists. If only the 3 sexy men would stop distracting her so she could think! What they will eventually find is that Prophecy states there should be seven Wardens, one for each element, to save the world. Jared is an incubus and EARTH. Camdan is a wraith and WIND, while Flint is also a wraith but FIRE, the opposite element to Macey. Macey is a kelpie so her element is WATER. The prophecy says Lightening has been captured and Ice is on the way to rescue her, so once the others are together, Air will join them and they will be complete. Then they will find out how to fulfill their quest to save the world. And this collection will take you on that journey with them!

This collection of books that make up the 'Seven Wardens' Complete Collection include: 1. From the Deeps 'From the Deeps' is the first book in Laura Greenwood and Skye MacKinnon's "The Seven Wardens" series. If you missed the prequel, 'Beyond the Loch', it gives a bit of the preamble which certainly helped me along with this one. Our heroine is a kelpie princess named Macey. She and her twin brothers have been living on Earth for the past three years as humans in a small village and Macey is beyond bored with her life and annoyed with her siblings. She wants excitement, adventure, anything but what she currently has. Then the power goes out one night and goes out looking for her brothers in a thick mist and winds up tripping over them, getting knocked out and kidnapped to another world. Let the adventure begin. If you read the blurb then you know this is a reverse harem based on Scottish mythology …. While throwing in a few paranormal. Definitely has potential. 2. Through the Storms (novella) 'Through the Storms' is actually a spin-off of the "Seven Wardens" series and takes place at the same time as 'From the Deeps' in order to explain the relationship between Amber, Lightning mixed with a Beither shifter, a snake/dragon combination, and Izban, Ice and a Mage). These are just two of the people Macey and her men are looking for although, Ice and Lightning are unaware of their prophesied roles as Wardens. Izban and the help of the resident ghost help Amber unlock some of her magic. It was fascinating to read Scottish lore along the way as this book added further information to the "Seven Wardens". There's plenty of action and mystery that kept me entertained. 3. Into the Mists 'Into the Mists' is the second book in the "Seven Wardens" series and picks up where "From the Deeps" left off. Macey is kidnapped (again) and locked in the same prison as Amber, the Lightning Warden, by the evil Voice. Poor Amber is being tortured with mind games being played over and over until Luch, a talking mouse becomes quite helpful in their escape. Amber is reunited with Jared, Cam, and Flint, her Wardens, and Amber is back with Izban so they can once again focus on their mission. The adventure isn't finished yet as Selkies are pulled into this. Each of these characters has such vivid personalities and our authors have described their interactions fabulously. What imagination! I can't wait to see what happens next. 4. Beneath the Earth 'Beneath the Earth' is the fourth book in Laura Greenwood and Skye MacKinnon's "Seven Wardens" series and it truly does not disappoint. The plot continues to thicken, the humor is amped up, the intrigue kept me turning the pages. This is an intriguing, humorous storyline filled with drama, adventure, humor, and Scottish mythology. I'm looking forward to 'Within the Flames'. 5. Within the Flames 'Within the Flames' is the fourth book in Laura Greenwood and Skye MacKinnon's "Seven Wardens" series and I have to say, this one has more of an epic fantasy feel than previously. Fast-paced, filled with humor, action-adventure combined with a steamy romance makes this a hard one to put down. There are loads of mythological beings from around the world introduced as the storyline focuses on Flint losing his magic and Macey on a quest to help him. Oh, let me not forget the final battle with the Malhoun. If you've enjoyed the series so far, don't fret, there's still more to come and I can't see where our authors take me next. 6. Above The Waves 'Above the Waves' is book five in the "Seven Wardens" series by Laura Greenwood and Skye MacKinnon. If you've followed the series, then you know this will not be a standalone book. If not, then understand each book is built on the last so it's best to read them in order. When you do, you'll find Macey was definitely less likable in this storyline for a very good reason. The Mahoun has been destroyed but that still left Macey with a long to-do list; defeat his siblings, become Queen of the Kelpies, confront her mother about that little bombshell of a secret, decide how

Love this Series! I absolutely adore this series and read each story as it came out. I love that the author put it in a single collection so I could binge-read without having to open multiple books. I like how the series has a basis in Celtic myth and legend but also has a complex world unto its own created by the author. The author even manages to add a few in-jokes that weave their way into each book of the series. Waffles! The books are steamy RH reads, but the intimate scenes are within character and perfect for the large and small plotlines… as well as a little fun and reward (for both characters and readers! This series has quite a cast of characters, but most are introduced gradually throughout so you don't feel overwhelmed at any one point. A highly enjoyed and highly recommended series. I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
