Trigger warning. Kidnapping, CNC, mention of past harm to children. This was, ,WOW! This story is about how the past, and theirs WAS horrific, can haunt us but not always break or make us. The chemistry between the two MC's was intense and while their lives weren't the same, pulled them toward each other and made them realize a very real need for each other. My heart was broken for the H past anguish! I'm not going to be one to say that they shouldn't have planned or carried out what they did. (wrong or not) I recommend this read but please, heed the trigger warning. Some may be offended but ALL who read this heart-breaker will be touched.

Thank you so much for reigniting my passion for reading again and taking me to a dark but exciting place in my own imagination. I thoroughly enjoyed the story from beginning to end. I felt some of Graysons dialogue strayed from his character and was a bit too cringey at times but that could just be me. Overall, I'm totally satisfied and have no regrets about neglecting my children for the day and night it took to read lol. (No children were harmed in the reading of this book)

it was a really good story line but I couldn't see how the connection started between the couples. Most of the romances I have read have some bubbling chemistry between both characters that they deny before once accepts it and something drastic happens to show how much someone else loves the other... but in this story, Grayson never admitted to loving Abby and through MOST of their interactions she wanted to get away from him but he had his own obsession with her. I didn't feel romance but a man's obsession. It wasn't LOVE persay between two people. I just didn't see what they saw in each other
