关于此电子书

Fernando Dagnino’s (Blade Runner: Origins) stunning debut graphic novel about a rogue android who becomes self-aware and discovers what it means to be alive.

The near future…

Yuki – unaffectionally called “Scrappy” by her owner, tech giant Hirochi Tonazzi – is a Smart Girl: an android servant used for everything from security to carnal pleasure. When she begins to malfunction, Hirochi replaces her and orders Yuki to be destroyed. But something in Yuki awakens and, taking a stand against her abusive master, she becomes self-aware…

Believed to be defective and hostile, she is hunted by her creators through a city rife with anti-android sentiment. But Yuki plans to fight back for the only thing that truly matters – her freedom to live.

作者简介

Fernando Dagnino was born in Madrid in 1973. At the age of five he told his parents he wanted to be a comic book artist. Nobody took him seriously. On completion of a degree in English Literature and Linguistics, Fernando decided to follow his heart and pursue a career in comics.

After a stint working as a guest Disney Imagineer on an attraction for DisneyQuest in Disney World Florida, he went on to work as an illustrator for children's books, magazines, video games and several publicity agencies.

In 2006, he wrote and drew his first graphic novel, Kasandra y la Rebelion. In 2007, he began working for the American comic book market, drawing Superman, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Teen Titans, Justice League, Suicide Squad, Captain Midnight, Tarzan on the Planet of the Apes, and Killers.

Most recently, he illustrated the series L'Agent for a French publishing house and followed it with his own series Smart Girl to great critical acclaim. He is currently working on Blade Runner: Origins and his second creator-owned series Winter Queen.
