Profound. Every once in a while, there is a writer that can make you think about how you view a responsibility and help you to find a better point of view. This talented storyteller has that ability and it has been a privilege to read her work. I can't remember when or if I ever found a book that didn't end that left me feeling full, this is an incredible work.Thank you.

Convoluted, with a mary-sue of a protagonist. I lost interest around the time everyone was falling over themselves to say how much they loved Marina, while it felt utterly unearned. None of the characters felt believable, and the romance just wasn't there. I finished the book because I'm no quitter, but I won't be continuing the series.

Add political intrigue, romance and spies/assassins to make the most interesting story. Read throughout the night instead of turning off my reader. Just had to know what was coming next. Very well written.
