About this eBook

A chilling fantasy retelling of the Snow White fairy tale by bestselling creators Neil Gaiman and Colleen Doran.

A not-so-evil queen is terrified of her monstrous stepdaughter and determined to repel this creature and save her kingdom from a world where happy endings aren't so happily ever after.

From the Hugo, Bram Stoker, Locus, World Fantasy, Nebula Award-winning and Sunday Times-bestselling writer Neil Gaiman (American Gods) comes this graphic novel adaptation by Colleen Doran (Troll Bridge).

'Like Ray Bradbury before him, [Neil Gaiman] writes lovely little horror stories, fairy tales and fantasies which are as familiar as they are fabulous, stories that are never quite what the reader expects...' A.V. Club

4.5/5 A disturbing and beautiful graphic novel Snow White retelling from the point of view of the Wicked Queen. - The story was so different yet disturbingly similar to the source material. I enjoyed how the author and artist both crafted the story and the images brought it to vivid life. - The artwork is simply gorgeous. The style is a perfect fit for the story and the use of detail and colour is extraordinary. - My only qualm with this book is that there are some questions left unanswered that feel like they should have been part of the story. This is also very definitely intended for adults as there are lots of explicit and horror elements. A gorgeous, captivating and horrifying graphic novel which I would recommend for fans of alternative fairy tales and beautiful illustrations.

I love Neil Gaimans twisted and brilliant mind, this book is a gem: thrilling and enchanting in the same time. The illustrations are amazing, each page a separate peace of art. I especially loved the section in the end where the whole story of this unique illustration style is told.
