Maureen O’Hara Ventimiglia is retired, but her passion for writing has been an important part of her life. Although she has no degrees relevant to writing or education, she has always enjoyed writing stories and, lately, writing eulogies. Her grandchildren convinced her to write her life story; surprisingly, she remembered more than expected. Throughout her lifetime, Maureen had many careers, but her main focus was always to stay positive, maintain faith, and tell the truth. Her resilience in the loss of her adult children and husbands, as well as all the illnesses she endured, makes this story unique. When she’s not telling stories to anyone who will listen, Maureen travels the world, visiting all seven continents. She is known for her love of photography; her home is filled with photos from around the world, and what is not displayed are bound in a table book collection she created with a story timeline. Maureen currently lives near Bethany Beach, DE, and spends the winter months in her “happy place,” the Caribbean, where she enjoys the beautiful blue water and fantastic sunsets. Maureen has no time for whining—life is too short. When something goes wrong—you need to make a change. She believes the world needs to do more things with love and be kinder to everyone.
