Fate tends to make an appearance at just the right time. There are moments where life can become unbearable, but then fate sneaks up to tap you on the shoulder and turn life in a whole new direction. Piper and Roman have a history. What began as young love matured into broken hearts. Life pulled them in different directions, but a chance meeting could be a new beginning for a love interrupted. Ms. Knightly showcases humor, heart and a hint of mystery in Loved by You. Sometimes crazy, but always delightful and that makes it irresistibly entertaining.

Piper receives an urgent message from Roman asking her to meet him. However, after the hurt he inflicted on her when he dumped her a decade before, Piper isn't open to renewing the relationship. Roman uses the one reason for roping her in, namely his mother. Piper loves Sadie and finds it difficult to resist his request when it would appear that he has a valid reason for requesting her help. While Roman would like to reconnect with Piper and make amends for the past, he has a girlfriend draped around his neck like an albatross and Piper has grown up enough not to be caught by empty promises. As unexplained events escalate, Sadie makes her move, pre-empting any further disasters, but the situation still runs out of control. This second chances romance with a puzzle to be solved is well written and despite being part of a series is a standalone with a happy ending. Roman is an alpha male, but Piper is no pushover and she gives him a run for his money. Sadie is a firecracker, spreading joy and humour wherever she goes, the epitome of a seenager. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.

Loved by You is the fifth book in Sophia Knightly's Tropical Heat Series and it was definitely worth the wait! I loved Roman and Piper's love story! Roman broke Piper's heart ten years ago and has regret it ever since. Seeing her now has only brought up all of those feelings and he would do anything he could to make her see that he is a changed man. If only his life wasn't so complicated! Piper doesn't want to forgive and forget. It took her months to get over Roman and eloping with the first guy who came along after having her heat broken was only one mistake out of many since. Falling back in love with Roman wasn't an option especially since it had the potential to destroy her this time around. However, how do you say no to the only man you have or will ever love in your lifetime? I was given an ARC from the author/publisher. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.
