This one was so good! There was not many errors in the French to English translation. I absolutely loved the relationship and the struggles between Carl and Cassie. Having each of there POVs and seeing their internal struggles drew me into the story and made me love them even more. Seeing their fight on what they should do and what they wanna do is so mesmerizing and it is an amazing forbidden romance!

Arc review: Book was interesting once I was able to force myself past the couple chapters at the beginning that focus on the characters childhood. I struggled with keeping my interest in the book because I’m not really into the stepsiblings to lovers trope. Book is a well written romance if you are into that sort of thing though.

I loved this book it was such a great, steamy read which I will read again! I love a forbidden romance so this one was perfect. It’s a slow burn but when it picks up it’s very very steamy 😍🔥 I loved Carl and Cassie’s relationship and how it progressed over the course of the book!

About the author

The eldest child of a large, recomposed family, Sophie Santoromito Pierucci lives in southeastern France, land of sunshine and chirping cicadas.

After high school, she got her registered nursing degree and enlisted in the French army. The sudden, unforeseen death of her uncle at the age of 55 left her determined to leave something behind for future generations. Writing became her outlet of choice.

Although she is not a romantic per se, she is a real girly girl and likes pink, unicorns, sequins. She also enjoys painting, sculpture, sewing and… sports cars! She is also intrigued by American culture and is planning a coast-to-coast road trip as a belated honeymoon.

Sophie is happily married and has two children—Leeloo (after the Fifth Element) and Calvin (after Snoop Dogg)—several fish, and a cat.
