About this ebook

'Spark to Flame' is a short story set against the stunning backdrop of Florence, Italy. Think of it as an hour-long romantic escape.

Liza Fellows needs a break from every path she's on--career, life, and especially love, so she travels to Italy to regroup. On her first day away, she spots an unbelievably handsome man with a sketchbook in a cafe. Suddenly she's craving cappuccino, and a chance to stare at her mystery man, like crazy. She assumes the only familiarity they'll ever share is her ogling him while he's drawing. Antonio has far more in mind. When their spark turns to a flame, can he get Liza to see all they could be?

About the author

Karen Booth is a midwestern girl transplanted in the South, raised on '80s music and repeated readings of "Forever" by Judy Blume. Karen writes steamy contemporary romance, almost always about the dreamy guy you never thought you'd get. Her stories are full of breathless kisses, tearjerker moments, messy family dynamics, and more than a few things she's glad her grandmother never read.

Karen is co-founder of Seasoned Romance, a reader and author group devoted to the promotion of romance with characters 35+. She has been a finalist for RT Magazine's Series Romance of the Year, RT Magazine's Gold Seal of Excellence, the National Excellence in Romance Fiction Award (NERFA), the Booksellers Best Award, and the Holt Medallion. Her books have been translated into 18 languages. Stay up to date on new releases from Karen by clicking the "Follow" button, sign up for her newsletter at bit.ly/kbnews, or visit her website at karenbooth.net.

When Karen isn't creating fictional dream men and the women who test them, she's listening to everything from Otis Redding to Duran Duran with her kids, honing her Southern cooking skills (she makes some mean collards), or sweet-talking her astoundingly supportive husband into making her a Dark & Stormy.
