This review was written by Marie for a guest review post on Ever After Book Reviews blog: 4 Stars There is nothing like a book that reads like a classic romantic comedy, and Sparking the Fire does just that. Girl and boy separately see a great opportunity to move forward with their lives and try to seize it, only to be side-swiped by someone from their past. After several run-ins, the chemistry and tension builds, coming to a head at the end of the story, where they realize they’ve never stopped loving one another and wind up with a happily-ever-after. Yep. Sounds just about perfect. And that’s exactly where we head off with Molly and Wyatt. Molly and Wyatt have history. A very intimate history. Which is why running in to one another on the set of a local movie shoot creates… tension. And boy, you could cut the tension with a knife! Eventually, these two characters worked through their issues (with plenty of snark and sass!), and with this developed an exceptionally charming and sweet romance. Of course, it helps that Wyatt sounds so hot and is so sweet. Seriously… I might need to find myself a Wyatt 😉 All joking aside, though, this book is a wonderful addition to the series, and scorches with every kiss. ***I read and reviewed a paperback copy of the book gifted to the blog in exchange for an honest review. All conclusions reached are my own***

The spark that lights the match which start the fireworks. Kate Meader definitely knows how to get attention. Her family of firefighters are proof of that. Alex, Gage, Luke, Beck and Wyatt may not be blood but they are family. With a legacy to protect, these Dempsey siblings risk life and heart for the good of Chicago. It's always a pleasure to catch up with this hot blooded American family. Wyatt is the latest sibling brought to his knees when his fantasy meets reality. Molly is the one that got away. Lust brought two strangers to together all those years ago, now fate plays a hand in reuniting them. Sparking the Fire is jalapeño worthy. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

LOVED! This! Book! I'm so sad to see this series end but I must say Ms. Meader saved the best for last. Wyatt Fox is a sexy former marine working for the Chicago FD. As a member of the misfit Dempsey clan what else would he do?? He's a man of few words but with looks like that who needs words? While recovering from a recent injury he finds himself as a consultant on the movie set of Molly Cade. A woman he never thought he'd see again after their one night filled with passion. That one night wasn't enough for him so maybe the heavens have put her back in his life for a reason. Will Molly agree? For someone who really doesn't enjoy the limelight could he survive in her world? Could she give up the lights of Hollywood?? You definitely want to read this one and find out. Put this one on the must read list! I highly recommend it.
