How would you know if things are real, unless you was given an alternative that made you question your reality......A.M.Yates has given us another family of characters, adding to the Gates, Keepers and Guardians faction. In this book we follow a male, main character as he battles against Reality, but which reality is real, and which of his friends are also real? You become absorbed from the first words of chapter one and find another riveting original way, these new characters stories come together. You get such a vivid story telling voice ingrained in your mind that as places and worlds change, you seamlessly flow with them. You feel the suspense, pain, elation, sorrow, worry mixed in with a longing, a hope, a wish, a love that can’t be. It was great how the previous characters from the previous books are now coming together and I can’t wait to re-visit Brend & Ollie and the gates family, Kiri and the clans, Ase, Sparrow and Zale. How much I have enjoyed this series, I’m looking forward to the conclusion... I just need a heads up when the next book is to be published, so I can plan not sleeping or engaging in anything but the ingenuity and suspense of A.M.Yates and the Horizon Cycle Series.

It felt like an eternity waiting for this book, and though it was a really great read, it was way too short! :(
